It's a process that involves applying forces to a sheet to modify its shape. Roll-forming utilizes a combination of rolls to turn a full metal sheet into a coil, while contouring is done manually or with a brake press.

  • Joining

In sheet metal manufacturing, joining is generally the last step. It entails techniques like riveting, bonding, brazing, and, most notably, welding. Welding is a method of joining two metallic sheets together by melting them together with a flame in the influence of a filler.
